Kiley Hazelton Herr is an Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She holds a PhD in CSD, a MA in speech-language pathology, as well as graduate certificates in vocology and cognitive science from the University of Memphis. She holds a MM in vocal arts and opera from the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. A singer and voice-specialized speech language pathologist, Kiley has combined her clinical and artistic expertise in her research on the interrelationship of cognition and motor behavior in the etiology and treatment of functional voice and breathing disorders. Her research informs her integrative clinical and teaching models, which draw upon theories of cognition, motor learning, and mind-body science.
